Famous hiking and cycling trails also pass through the former narrow-gauge historic railway Parenzana, built in the early 20th century.

During your stay at Villa Deneb, we recommend visiting the local food store “Butiga” located in the centre of Kaštelir, just a five-minute drive away. This store is a haven for organic produce grown on local family farms and is open year-round. Here, you’ll find the finest Istrian local ingredients such as prosciutto, cheese, milk, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables, freshly baked bread, as well as an excellent selection of quality wines, olive oils, gin, and beer.
In front of the luxurious Villa Deneb lies the Legović family vineyard and Legovina winery, where you can find quality wines. In Vižinada, just a ten-minute drive from the villa, you’ll find first-rate family wineries offering tastings and a premium wine-tasting experience.
